It was formed in 1932 and is Sweden\u2019s oldest translator federation.<\/p>\n<p>The Federation\u2019s members<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>possess unique competence and knowledge<\/li>\n<li>perform all types of advanced translations<\/li>\n<li>are bound by confidentiality prescribed in law and are under state supervision<\/li>\n<li>work in accordance with generally accepted professional ethical rules<\/li>\n<li>are entitled to use Kammarkollegiet\u2019s official translator\u2019s stamp for verification of translations<\/li>\n<li>represent more than 30 languages<\/li>\n<li>undertake assignments from government agencies, companies and private individuals<\/li>\n<li>represent professionalism, service, stability and reliability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Certain translators are certified both into as well as from a language. Others are authorised to or from several languages.
